David McNeill (born March 8, 1993), known professionally as EXXXHUMED, is a Scottish rapper, songwriter, and producer. EXXXHUMED has, as well as Scottish heritage, Irish and Spanish ancestry in his blood.
He was raised by his stepfather, Paul McNeill, and his mother, Christine, both in and around Glasgow where he grew up with early music influences from the likes of Michael Jackson, Slipknot, The Cure, Johnny Cash, Tupac and Deftones.
These early influences gave David a taste for emotionally honest and sincere music, this would lead him into further musical influences from heavy metal, hardcore punk and alternative hip-hop/grime, as a true melting pot of music drove him to spark his own musical career.
After floating in and out of metal bands as a teenager (2009-2012) and dabbling in Dark Ambient, Electronica and Dubstep in early 2010, David had finally found a foothold in a dark hip-hop style that was drenched in brutal honesty and sincerity under the stage name EXXXHUMED in early 2018.
