'The Wee Hings' wins Scottish BAFTA

Short film made by 19 year old student Iain Henderson commissioned for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony, screened to over 40,000 people at Celtic Park has just won a BAFTA award. The music / poetry / video project also feature Zambian Astronaut production and vocals from rapper Mog.

 Who says hip-hop in Scotland isn't recognized or respect? Surely those people that doubt the genre are slowly digesting their words. Hip-hop in Scotland is thriving, it’s time people sat up and noticed.

Sometimes Buckie drinking young guys can shine as bright as anyone else...
