Important Appeal for a Scottish Hip-Hop Legend
Dear readers,
While we would love to focus on posting great new music from Scotland, an important fundraiser has been set-up I need to share. Please read the below and donate anything you can to help save the music and the happiness of a true Scottish Hip-Hop pioneer.
'Del has been an avid Hip Hop fan for many many years and has an encyclopedic knowledge of the subject and often shared his collection to his followers on twitter (@delsoulcondor).
Recently it has become known after diagnosis he has evasive mouth cancer and obviously a huge shock to him, his family and the community. Typically, some thoughts turned to Del's epic Vinyl collection and he expressed concern that he never wanted it to 'end up in charity shops or a skip', wanting them to go to a good Home'.

"Forever" - Vagrant Real Estate
"Forever" is an instrumental hip-hop single in the vein of artists such as Nujabes and J-Dilla, pairing the warm nostalgia of lofi hip-hop with hard hitting drums that would sound at home on the latest release from the Griselda camp. The track flows in and out, evoking the colours of a Studio Ghibli film, before reaching a climactic orchestral crescendo.
The track was mixed and mastered by renowned Scottish engineer Hamish "Morphamish" Campbell, who has worked with the likes of Big Dada Records and Darren "Loki" McGarvey."
