One Big Tribe by ill Papa Giraffe [Music Video]


Black Lantern Music are proud to present the debut album by Ill Papa Giraffe. Ill Papa Giraffe are a new and unique voice in hip hop, coming straight out of Edinburgh. Consisting of producer Konnsky, rapper Tickle and DJ Symatic, the album also features some epic live guitar laid down by Sandy Galloway.

UTV: Hip-Hop Workshop Documentary [Part 1]

True Hold Records artist Conscious Route teamed up with local Edinburgh youth organisation Citadel. Conscious Route worked alongside Danny Wiedenhof aka DRW who attends as a senior member of Citadel youth service. The pair over space 5 session wrote lyrics and recorded for a rap song start to finish. The process was documented by Edinburgh Undersound's Jason Calder, Jason was also behind the shooting and production for this video plus the video for this track. Other people involved in the overall project consist of Vocals production and Mastering by Drew Devine (Sons of Scotland), Beat Production by Sean El (United Front).

Funding was granted by Creative Scotland, from Cash Back creativity scheme. The funding was originally part of a 3 months project, run by Urban Lotus representative Danny Ladwa.
