Conscious Route & Tzusan: Father and Son
Following a brief hiatus, Edinburgh-based rapper, Conscious Route has joined forces with producer Tzusan for the new single, ‘Father and Son.’ The single features swirling sonics alongside Conscious Route’s deep lyricism to deliver a track that demands more than one listen to unlock. There is also a darker, downtempo and more atmospheric remix from Konchis which strips the sound back to basics allowing Conscious Route’s rhymes to sit at the forefront.
Father and Son follows 2020’s “Lost Routes” collaboration album with producer True Note which went on gain a 4-star review from Fiona Shepherd, have 5 tracks named among Scotland’s top 100 tunes last year in The Herald and having ‘track of the week’ on BBC Introducing Scotland. Conscious Route looks set to continue delivering homegrown hip-hop to make you think throughout 2021.
